Dr. Daniel Markel
Dr. Daniel Markel is dedicated to helping patients achieve healthy, confident smiles through personalized orthodontic care. Raised in Voorhees, New Jersey, he developed an early appreciation for discipline, creativity, and mentorship through both athletics and the arts. As a two-time National Championship finalist in Latin ballroom dance, he discovered a passion for coaching and helping others reach their full potential – an experience that continues to influence the way he cares for patients today.
Dr. Markel earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Villanova University before attending Temple University Kornberg School of Dentistry, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude and was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society. He then completed his orthodontic specialty training at Temple University, receiving both a Certificate in Orthodontics and a Master of Science in Oral Health Sciences. His commitment to clinical excellence earned him national recognition as a finalist for the Journal of Clinical Orthodontics Student of the Year award.

Known for his patient-centered philosophy, Dr. Markel believes every successful treatment begins with listening. He takes the time to understand each patient’s goals, concerns, and lifestyle, creating customized treatment plans that prioritize both lasting oral health and beautiful results. With advanced training in Invisalign and clear aligner therapy, including completion of the Aligner Intensive Fellowship and Clear Aligner Advanced Residency Education (CAARE) programs, he is committed to providing modern orthodontic solutions tailored to each individual.
