Meet Our Doctors
Dr. Daniel Markel
Dr. Daniel Markel brings advanced clinical training and strong academic excellence to Philadelphia Orthodontists. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Villanova University before completing his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) at Temple University Kornberg School of Dentistry, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude and was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society.
He went on to complete his orthodontic residency at Temple University, earning both a Certificate in Orthodontics and a Master’s in Oral Health Sciences. His clinical skill and dedication to orthodontics were recognized nationally when he was named a finalist for the Journal of Clinical Orthodontics Student of the Year award.
Dr. Markel is committed to providing precise, patient-focused orthodontic care using advanced techniques designed to create healthy, confident smiles for patients of all ages.
William Roberts, DMD
Dr. William Roberts is a highly accomplished orthodontist with extensive education, clinical experience, and leadership in the field. He graduated three times from the University of Pennsylvania, earning a Bachelor of Arts in 1972, a Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) in 1976, and a Certificate in Orthodontics in 1978. He became Board Certified in 1993 and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics.
He served for eight years as an Associate Professor in the Department of Graduate Orthodontics at Temple University School of Dentistry. Dr. Roberts has authored and published numerous articles in orthodontic literature and has lectured internationally for more than 30 years. He is also a former President of the Mercer Dental Society, where he served as Program Chairman for 10 years and continues to contribute as the website editor.
Dr. Roberts is dedicated to delivering high-quality orthodontic care with a focus on experience, precision, and long-term patient results.
